How to Install an eSIM

Installing a Card Quick eSIM is easy and takes only a few minutes. Choose your phone type and follow the installation steps below.

Before You Start

  • Make sure your phone supports eSIM.
  • Make sure your phone is not locked to a specific mobile carrier.
  • Connect to a stable Wi-Fi or internet connection.
  • Have your QR code or manual eSIM installation details ready.

Install eSIM on iPhone

  1. Open Settings.
  2. Select Cellular or Mobile Data.
  3. Tap Add eSIM.
  4. Select Use QR Code.
  5. Scan the QR code for your eSIM.
  6. Tap Continue and wait for the installation to complete.
  7. Give the line a clear label, such as Travel eSIM.
  8. Select the eSIM for mobile data.

Install eSIM on Samsung Galaxy

  1. Open Settings.
  2. Select Connections.
  3. Open SIM Manager.
  4. Tap Add eSIM.
  5. Select Scan QR Code.
  6. Scan the QR code for your eSIM.
  7. Confirm that you want to add the eSIM and wait for the installation to complete.
  8. Turn on the eSIM and select it for mobile data.

Install eSIM on Google Pixel

  1. Open Settings.
  2. Select Network & Internet.
  3. Select SIMs.
  4. Tap Add SIM.
  5. Select Set up an eSIM.
  6. Scan the QR code for your eSIM.
  7. Confirm the eSIM download.
  8. Turn on the eSIM and select it for mobile data.

Manual Installation

If you cannot use the QR code, use the manual installation details shown in your eSIM details:

Enter these details using the manual eSIM setup option in your phone settings.

After Installation, Make Sure

  • The eSIM line is turned on.
  • The eSIM is selected for mobile data.
  • Data Roaming is enabled when required.
  • You are in a country included in the plan coverage.
  • The APN is configured if required by the plan.

Very Important

Do not delete the eSIM if you experience a connection problem. Some eSIMs and QR codes are intended for one-time installation only.

When Does the Plan Validity Start?

It depends on the plan’s activation policy. Validity may begin when the eSIM is installed or when it first connects to a supported network in the destination country. Review the plan details before installation.
